bioalma. A leading bioinformatics company

Believing in the power of innovation

bioalma participates in several European Union (EU) collaborative research projects (industry-academic). Current EU collaborations include a project to predict the biological function of genes, taking into account context-based aspects (Genefun), an effort to discover new technologies for distributed, semantic-based search on the web (Alvis) and a project to analyze microarray experiments that come from different organisms (Wound).

bioalma is in the company node of the National Bioinformatics Institute (INB) which encourage Bioinformatics and Computational Biology development in Spain.
